10 Audiobooks to listen to while you pull weeds
“Socially Distant in Sunlight”
While many of us contemplate our own spectrum of introversion during this pandemic crisis. I would encourage you to go outside (weather permitting) and pull some weeds. Normally I wouldn’t encourage human-on-plant violence, but I hate grass (my personal weeds) and with all this brimming anxiety, pulling weeds is better than pulling hair. But what to do about those inner demons insipidly eking louder and louder? Drown them out, with some audiobooks. That’s what I do!
I love Audible, because I love listening to audiobooks while I garden. My pleasure comes from a lack of soundtracks, or excessively annoying background music. Audio books are like an eavesdropped conversation told by professional narrators who relish your divided attention. But most importantly, I like listening to audiobooks over music, while I garden, because I can still hear the birds and sound of my feet walking on gravel. It’s simply more relaxing.
So in an effort to keep you sane and relaxed, I have compiled 60 hours (-ish) of audiobooks that are garden-themed in order to keep you inspired while you pull weeds and contemplate how much TP your neighbors have stockpiled in their house.
