Useless Lamp No4.: Rainbow Machine

This battery operated experiment in materials, really marked my transition from mindless tinkerer, to an artist with a strong desire to manifest his ideas. This piece involved a lot of engineering failures as I struggled with electrical properties and soldering techniques. In the end, it figures out a way to make this piece operate on a 9-volt battery, and turn on and off with an ambient light sensing switch.
